Under the funding of the German government, the GIZ agency has successfully implemented a project aimed at illuminating the central market of Huswain District. The initiative, which was launched by Mr. Rafi Nasser Al-Assad, the Director of the Office of Public Works and Roads in the district, is estimated to have cost around $12,600.

This project forms part of a broader range of humanitarian efforts and interventions conducted by the German Agency in Huswain District and the governorate, with the objective of supporting the overall development process in the country, particularly in the health and education sectors.

Sheikh Yasser Abdullah Al-Assad, the Director General of Huswain District, emphasized the significance of the lighting project in revitalizing economic and commercial activities within the district.

Furthermore, it is important to highlight that the German agency has previously provided funding for two projects in the health and education sectors. With the implementation of this lighting project, the agency is concluding its humanitarian intervention program.
