As part of the “Emergency Response Project to Ensure Access to a Safe and Comprehensive Educational Environment,” the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) team recently conducted an inspection of the final construction works at Abdullah bin Masoud School in Al-Muqabah Village, located in Jahaf District of Al-Dhalea Governorate. The project, implemented in collaboration with the Diversity Organization, involved the construction of three classrooms across six schools in three districts, all of which were previously handed over to the local authority in the governorate.
The efforts made by KSRelief to support the education sector in Al-Muqabah Village were greatly appreciated by Salih Obaid Al-Haj, the Director General of Jahaf District, despite the challenging terrain and distance.
It is worth noting that KSRelief has recently completed several educational projects in Abyan and Lahj Governorates. During the past few days, it handed over nine schools to the local authority and the Ministry of Education offices after carrying out construction work, including the building of additional classrooms and the rehabilitation and restoration of the buildings. These initiatives are part of the ongoing educational projects implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
