  • UNFPA Supports the Inauguration of “Child-Friendly Space” in a Camp for IDPs in Marib

Khabar Khair (Only Good News)

The safe space for women and girls in Al-Wadi district of Marib Governorate inaugurated a child-friendly space within the protection project, funded by United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Al-Kharashi camp for the displaced. This inauguration came in response to the wishes of the people and with the self-efforts of the safe space management and its team, and the cooperation of the camp residents, which is one of the largest camps in Marib.

At this event, special supplies for children were delivered to the child-friendly space, along with educational materials. These elements are intended to educate children, create a safe environment for them that can aid their development, support their positive interaction with their peers and the surrounding community, and help them exercise their rights to play.
