  • Launch of a Project to Protect IDPs from the Risks of Floods and Torrents in Bani Hushaysh with Support from UNHCR

YGUSSWP, with support from UNHCR, has initiated the implementation of the project “Strengthening Resilience Against Floods in Vulnerable IDP Sites” in Souq Al-Thuluth and Bait Qahdan IDP sites in Bani Hushaysh District, Sana’a Governorate.

This vital project aims to protect and empower 524 individuals by reducing flood risks. It includes the construction of rainwater and flood drainage channels, as well as relocating IDPs from their current sites in flood paths to elevated and safe areas.
