In a step aimed at enhancing the role of women in the economic and social sector, the Small and Micro Enterprise Promotion Service (SMEPS) distributed 128 grants to women in Taiz Governorate, specifically in the districts of Al-Shamaytayn, Al-Wazyia, and Mawza. This initiative comes as part of efforts to empower women in the food industry, reflecting ongoing efforts to increase women’s participation in the labor market and enhance their financial independence.

These grants are part of a broader project targeting vocational training and business skills support, implemented by SMEPS in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief).
