On Sunday, the Coalition of Relief and Building (CRB) inaugurated a tower tank in Al-Qawz camp in Marib Governorate, funded by CARE International, as part of water and environmental sanitation projects.
This project comes in response to the call of the displaced in Al-Qawz camp, aiming to address their needs by providing clean and safe water for use by them and their families, who suffer from difficulties in accessing water, thereby aiding in the fulfillment of sustainable development goals.
This project is considered as a segment of broader activities linked with the construction of the tower tank, within the integrated response project for food security, livelihoods, water, sanitation, and hygiene, implemented by the Coalition of Relief and Building, in partnership with CARE International.
The project, which was inaugurated amidst joy among the displaced, includes: a tower tank with a capacity of 50 cubic meters, a pumping line from the well to the tank stretching 400 meters, as well as distribution lines spanning 2200 meters to various camp points, and also 26 new distribution points to reach the largest number of families suffering from a severe shortage of clean and safe water.
