On Sunday, the distribution of fishing equipment to 70 fishermen in the Seera District of Aden Governorate was inaugurated with support from the Yemen Aid organization, as part of efforts to improve the conditions of fishermen facing harsh circumstances.

The head of the Gulf of Aden Fisheries Authority emphasized the ministry’s concern for enhancing the fishermen’s situation amidst the difficult conditions the country is going through, appreciating the efforts of Yemen Aid in supporting the fishermen.

This initiative has been highly appreciated for providing both material and moral support, contributing to the sustainability of the fishing profession and improving the livelihoods of those working in this sector.
