  • KSrelief Signs Agreement to Develop Local Capacities to Educate Illiterate Students, and People with Disabilities in Yemen

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed a joint cooperation agreement with a civil society organization to implement the second phase of a project to respond to the needs of developing local capacities for educating illiterate students and students with disabilities in a number of governorates, at a value of 5,625,000 Saudi riyals.

The project aims to build the institutional capacities of government centers and schools working in the fields of protection, care and rehabilitation of people with disabilities, and literacy schools in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Al-Dhalea, Shabwa, Hadramout, and Al-Mahra. This will be achieved by creating an enhanced educational structure for opportunities to participate in supporting the outputs of the education system for people with disabilities and illiterate students, benefiting 8,975 individuals.
