The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered solar energy equipment to the office of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training on the Hadhramaut Coast. This initiative aims to support and enhance the office’s capabilities as part of the “Program for Development of Technical and Vocational Institutes in Hadhramaut,” implemented in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program and Small and Micro Enterprise Promotion Service (SMEPS).
The Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training in Hadhramaut Coast, Dr. Salem Bajaber, praised KSrelief’s efforts in empowering various sectors. He noted that the new equipment will facilitate the launch of a sustainable training program and the introduction of a new specialization in renewable energy at technical institutes in the Hadhramaut Coast for the first time. This initiative will empower young people and support research and studies in the field of renewable energy.
This assistance is part of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, to empower Yemeni youth, enhance employment opportunities, and support economic recovery in Yemen.
