The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has launched an emergency relief operation on Thursday in Marib Governorate, Yemen, distributing food and shelter assistance to 687 displaced families affected by fires and climatic storms.
The distribution included 270 emergency shelter kits, 100 tents, and 618 food baskets. The operation was carried out in cooperation with the KSrelief office in Marib and with the support of the Al-Khair Coalition for Humanitarian Relief.
This assistance comes as part of the efforts to alleviate the suffering of the affected families, as some of the displaced people’s tents have been damaged by fires, while others were damaged as a result of severe storms that tore their tents apart.
