  • Launch of a Program to Enhance the Capacity of Civil Organizations in Humanitarian Work and Sustainable Development in Marib

On Tuesday, the first phase of the program to enhance the efficiency of civil society organizations in humanitarian work and sustainable development was launched in Marib Governorate. This program is implemented by the Global Relief and Development Agency (Ansar) in partnership with the Owais Al-Qarni Foundation, under the supervision of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), with the participation of representatives from 40 local organizations in the governorate.

The program, which lasts for three days, aims to introduce participants to the principles, rules, objectives, and foundations of governance according to international organization standards. It also seeks to enhance the capabilities of local organizations in providing effective and sustainable humanitarian and development services, contributing to improving the humanitarian situation in the region.
